Athletics Australia are very pleased to confirm that the Australian Cross Country Championships will be staged in Victoria .

ALL Athletes (Official Team Members & Additional Competitors) must nominate themselves to compete at the Championships

Date: Saturday 22nd August 2026

Venue: Victoria Park, Ballarat, Victoria

Event Information: 

AV Age Groups: U12 (born '15), U13 (born '14), U14 (born '13), U15 (born '12), U16 (born '11), U17 (born '10), U18 (born '09), U20 (born '08 or '07), Open,  Para U15 (born '12 or '13), Para U17 (born '10 or '11), Para U20 (born '09, 08, or '07), Para Open.

Athletes must turn 11 in the year of competition (2026), to compete in these Championships. Athletes can only enter in one age group.

Para Athletes: All para-athlete entries must have a current provisional or full National Level Classification or higher to qualify for entry into an Athletics Australia event. If the Athlete’s National Classification (or higher) is past its review date, entry will be at the discretion of Athletics Australia.
