AV Specialist meets noted as World Athletics Permit meets have an expectation that athletes compete in World Athletics compliant shoes.

Any State Record, National Record or National/International qualifying performance will not be ratified without athletes wearing shoes that meet the World Athletics Shoe Rules.

All Athletes, inclusive of Para athletes, attempting a State Record, National Record, or International qualifier MUST wear shoes that meet World Athletics Shoe Rules. Athletes may be subjected to a shoe check at the conclusion of their event.
