ELIGIBILITY:

ALL athletes MUST:

•   Be a registered Athletics Victoria member.
•         Be born between 2003-2005 (U23) to be eligible for U23.
•         Para-Athletes Nominate by Monday 12:00pm 10^th March 2025
•         Able-Bodied Athletes Nominate by Wednesday 5:00pm 19^th March 2025

QUALIFICATION:

ALL athletes MUST fulfil at least one of the following selection criteria:

•          Medalist from the 2025 Victorian Track and Field Championships
•          U20 Medalist from the 2024 Victorian All Schools Track and Field Championships* 
•          Achieve the Australian Championships Entry Standards or Australian Championships Para Entry Standards between 1^st January, 2024 and the 19^th March, 2025

CONFIRMATION:

All athletes who meet the Eligibility and Qualification criteria are assumed selected in the team. There is no announcement of a final team. Athletics Victoria will communicate via email, Entry Lists from Athletics Australia, once nominations have been closed and confirmed.

Unless you have been requested to provide evidence of performance by AV. It is assumed, if an athlete has met all eligibility and qualification standards, an athlete’s entry will be confirmed and entered.   

TEAM LEVY: OPTIONAL

There will be an OPTIONAL team levy of $135.00 for every athlete selected in the Victorian team. This is inclusive of time and services of AV staff to process and check event entries, competition team management, medical support (physio/massage), team coaches, and team social media costs.

N.B. Any athlete who chooses NOT to pay the Team Levy, waives the right to Team Management services, including scratching’s, timetable changes, withdrawals, protests, appeals and Team Physio/Massage access.

TRAVEL & ACCOMMODATION:

This team does not have a compulsory travel and/or accommodation component.

Therefore, all athletes will be required to organise their own travel & accommodation arrangements. This includes the transport of personal competition equipment, such as, throwing implements, practice hurdles, sprint spikes, and poles.

UNIFORM:

Athletics Victoria partnered with Project Clothing. Open athletes are encouraged to wear State uniform, however may elect to wear Club or Institute uniform as an alternative. Sample uniforms will be available for sizing at the Victorian Championships.
